I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year!
I think I may do the Mommytography 365 Project this year! I know I am in school, but I will be out around the middle of February, so I am thinking I can hang! I am no where near a photographer, but just thought it would be neat to do this, and I think I am going to put my own spin on it!
Come back tomorrow for my first installment!
Much love.

New Year's resolution
Just a quick thought...(and hopefully after the new year, I can get back to blogging more)
Everyone always makes the New Year's resolution, "new year, new life." Problem is, no one ever changes anything.
Do you know what my New Year's resolution is? To not change anything, and work on embracing who I already am!
What's yours?

Christmas tree time!
No fun for my boys.
I have decided that once school is done in February I am going to start doing the cleaning during the week, and laundry on the weekend, so I can have some time with my boys and myself.
Anywho....I have had my tree up since Thanksgiving..(that's just how busy I am!) This is my second year with my "candy theme" but it still isn't complete. Ya know, time and money make it hard for me to get all the things that I want to put on it! But, I have a plan...this year I will most definitely go after Christmas and snatch up all kinds of goodies for next to nothing for my candy tree!
So here it is....the"not finished yet" Christmas tree..
And my Christmas mantle..which also isn't done yet...
The hubs was watching EPSN, he wouldn't let me turn the tv off to get a "magazine" shot, and I was too impatient to wait for the game to go off!
I love my decorations even if they aren't done! I do wish though, that I had the money to get the rest of what I want for my tree....in time though!
I have linked up to TDC and her Christmas Tree Party. You should too
Much love.

Yesterday
Yesterday, 4 years ago...was one of the greatest days of my life!
I gave birth to my first son, Jacob Hank. The labor was a little rocky, I was sick with a sinus infection, and ended up having my first epidural wear off, to which they gave me way too much the 2nd time and it made me sick...I was vomiting between each push..It was awful.
My baby boy finally came out about an hour and a half of pushing and he was sweet, handsome and healthy. He immediately turned to his daddy and stopped crying when he heard his voice.
After all the chaos, it was just us 3. I had started to get sick again and while trying to tell my husband that I was going to pass out, I did. Luckily, he had the baby. When I finally woke, I had ringing in my ears, felt all tingly and numb, and realized that there was tons of blood coming out of me. It was scary. My husband was scared. no one knew what was wrong. My blood pressure was at 70/30...pretty darn low. No telling how low it got before hand.
After all was said and done, I was healthy and our little boy was healthy. Adjusting to life with a brand new baby came so easily. I am so blessed because he is so special and so sweet. He changed my life...and everyone else's around him!
Happy Birthday Jacob! I love you!
Much love.
